Our Programs

child education

We have volunteers that come to the children’s homes, provide them a meal and teach them in the evening after they’ve finished their workday. Children aged 5-10 years are taught primary school classes such as the English language, Mathematics, Urdu studies and Christian & Biblical studies.

Substantial research shows that hungry children can’t learn. That’s why we make sure every child in our program receives a meal before the class starts. We want these beautiful children to be well-fed body, soul and spirit.

adult education

Adults have the opportunity to receive a meal + financial management training, job skills training and Christian discipleship through our volunteers visiting their homes in the brick factories.

Adults will learn the financial management skills they need to come out and stay out of debt. Our volunteers teach them about their created value in Jesus and what it means to follow him, empowering them to break out of an impoverished mindset to see themselves as Jesus sees them. Adults also have the opportunity to learn job skills and manage a business with their new financial training. Examples of job skills include: goat farming (which also provides them milk!), rickshaw training, sewing and more.

job skills & business training

Women aged 15 and older are taught job skills in a safe environment within their local communities, so that they can safely work from home when they’re ready to start their own business. These skills include beauty, sewing and business management.

employment support

In Pakistan, lower-class and lower-paying jobs are reserved specifically for Christians. This creates the need for a loan in the first place and is the reason why young women feel forced to endure abuse in the homes of their Muslim neighbors… where else will they earn a living? The key to helping these families stay out of bondage is to help them earn higher paying jobs.

Once a family has paid off their debt to the brick factory owner, we provide them with the support they need to find a new job and generate enough income to keep their family from falling back into debt.
