SMI is working to “liberate” the Christians in different areas of Punjab, Pakistan and has successfully opened four sewing centers and a beauty school. These schools have helped young Christian women in many ways. Girls are being trained to support their families through these learned skills. Because of these opportunities, girls and young women do not have to go to work at brick kilns or clean the distant houses of non-believers, as those are not safe jobs for young Christian women.

SMI recently took over St. Martin’s School. This is the only school in the area that will provide a Christian education to children of Christian families.  Eventually the school will be able to serve 600 Christian students who otherwise might have to go to Muslim schools or work at brick kilns from a very early age.

Our focus is to give our Christian children the opportunity to learn the Bible and grow in faith in Christ Jesus while getting their academic education in a caring Christian environment.
